Some students go into the class with a goal to learn about this, but almost all of them simply learn about this aspect of the world because they are taught it. However, it is actually a crucial part of the course and understanding it will help them formulate a stronger argument. This will prepare them for other parts of the class, especially the political and societal component.Many students also come into the class with a goal to study these subjects, especially the social sciences. To be successful in this type of class, the student must have knowledge of economics. However, what most students do not realize is that it is not that easy to get a college degree in Economics and Social Sciences at the same time.For those students who come to the class with basic economics, they will likely come to the class with a broad view of the world and be able to develop a grasp of what they need to learn. Those students who come to the class with no knowledge of economics will usually do well in the class, but if they have not learned the basics yet, then it may take a lot of work to break them in. The basic economics should be fairly accessible, but students must be diligent in researching everything they need to know.Students who come to the class knowing the basics may be at a disadvantage in macroeconomic topics. Their viewpoint will be narrow and they will not be able to see much beyond the edge of their skill level. However, most students may find themselves on the opposite end of the spectrum and notice that the courses they took were very advanced, yet they did not achieve anything and decided to change schools.Writing can be difficult for students when learning about topics like these. Not all topics are written, but it is difficult to write about macroeconomic theory. Not only does th e writing structure not fit for this topic, but a student may find it very daunting.For students who know microeconomic analysis but do not yet know macroeconomic theory, there is a solution. The best approach is to prepare a very detailed outline of the information needed for each class. The outline will be used as a guide but should be far more detailed than the notes taken in class.
